I’ve said this in just about every pre-match article, but St. James Park is not an easy place to play. Least of all for Arsenal, who are notoriously bad on the road, St. James or not. But that is where the match will take place, and the Gunners will just have to get over it or lose points.

AdvertisementAs it stands, Newcastle United are in an early relegation battle, as they sit third from the bottom of the table without a win to show for the season just yet. However, even without a win, they have given up less goals than the Gunners (six, compared to eight).

They have also only scored three goals, however. But going up against a porous defense like the one they will be hosting has a way of making any attack look better than it is.
